Hi, My name is Mike Brandlin and I am the owner and chief appraiser at Brandlin Appraisals. I started Brandlin Appraisals in 1990 and specialize in providing quality appraisals to the legal and professional community of San Diego. Our clients include a long list of Attorneys, CPA’s, Fiduciary’s, Estate Planners, Local and National Builders, and Corporate Trustees. Since 1990 we have experience several changes and cycles in the real estate appraisal industry including the home valuation code of conduct, and the DODD-Frank Act. Over the last 24 years, we have also experienced several advancements in the technology involved in a real estate appraisal including digital photos, digital signatures, digital maps, digital laser measuring devices, etc.
As a certified residential appraiser I employ several different techniques and methodologies in determining a value for residential properties. We are very experienced in appraising fractional interest properties and retrospective appraisals. By learning different approaches and thought processes along with my 24 years of experience in appraising the San Diego market has allowed me to become one of the best appraisers in the area.
